This time, I tried making milk agar with canned mandarin oranges.
The finished product, which I made without sugar this time, was subtly sweet and refreshing. I felt the agar could use a little more sweetness. It seems the sweetness of the syrup varies by brand of canned mandarins (last time, it was sweet enough without sugar).
