The deep green of matcha green tea and the pure white of white chocolate interweave to create a pound cake that is beautiful to the eye. It is a moist baked cake with a new sensation, combining the profound profundity of Japanese tea and the elegance of Western taste. The mild sweetness of the white chocolate melts out from behind the bittersweet matcha aroma, creating a peaceful and luxurious moment. Enjoy it with a cup of hot tea on a long autumn evening.

- Now, let’s begin our journey of beautiful green and white harmony. First, let’s start with the preparation. Line a pound mold with a cookie sheet and preheat the oven to 170°C. Let all ingredients come to room temperature to prevent the dough from separating. Sift the flour and baking powder together two or three times.
- Place the unsalted butter softened at room temperature in a large bowl and knead with a rubber spatula until creamy. Add the granulated sugar and mix thoroughly with a whisk until the mixture is white and fluffy. The secret to the delicious flavor is to mix the butter until it becomes light and fluffy, and airy!
- Add the beaten eggs in 3 or 4 batches, carefully mixing with a whisk each time. This is the secret to the delicious taste! - Add all the remaining flours and mix gently, without over-kneading the dough, until the flouriness is gone. Finally, add the coarsely chopped white chocolate (or white chocolate chips) and mix evenly throughout. The white glitter will be scattered over the green canvas. - Pour the batter into the prepared pound cake mold and flatten the surface with a rubber spatula. Bake in a preheated oven at 170℃ for about 40 to 50 minutes.
