I made steamed bread with black soybean and brown sugar powder. This time, I added 5g of black soybean and brown sugar powder.
The finished product had a dark appearance and a slight kinako (roasted soybean flour) flavor. I feel like adding a bit more powder would give it a richer taste.

Black Soybean and Brown Sugar Steamed Bread Recipe (Instructions)
(1) Mix the whole egg, 20g milk, 15g oil, 60g sugar, and 5g black soybean and brown sugar powder with a hand mixer for about 2 minutes. (It will get quite frothy)
(2) Add 50g flour, 2g baking powder, and 1g baking soda to (1) and stir until there are no flour lumps.
(3) Pour (2) into a mold lined with lunchbox paper cups and steam in a boiling pot (I wrapped the pot lid with a towel to make it like a steamer) for about 15 minutes.
(4) The finished product had a dark appearance and a slight kinako flavor. I feel like adding a bit more powder would give it a richer taste. Also, adding just a pinch or two of baking soda will make it beautifully fluffy (but be careful not to add too much, as it will taste a bit salty).
