This time, I tried making steamed bread with black tea and cheese.
When it was done, even though I added a generous amount of cheese, I couldn’t taste the cheese at all. It ended up being a somewhat cloying black tea-flavored steamed bun. It seems that cheese and black tea (tea leaves) don’t have good flavor compatibility.

Black Tea Cheese Steamed Bread Recipe (Instructions)
(1) Mix one whole egg, 30g milk, 20g oil, 5g crushed tea leaves, 60g sugar, and 35g cheese with a hand mixer for about 3 minutes.
(2) Add 50g wheat flour and 2g baking powder to (1), and lightly mix with a spatula.
(3) Pour (2) into a mold lined with lunch paper cups, and steam in a boiling pot (I wrapped the pot lid with a towel to make it like a steamer) for about 15-20 minutes.
(4) When it was done, even though I added a generous amount of cheese, I couldn’t taste the cheese at all. It ended up being a somewhat cloying black tea-flavored steamed bun. It seems that cheese and black tea (tea leaves) don’t have good flavor compatibility.
