Today, I tried making French toast with bread crusts.

The finished product was subtly sweet, perhaps because I used less sugar. I think it would have been delicious with honey or similar toppings.

French Toast with Bread Crusts (Instructions)

・ First, I removed the bread crusts.

・ Next, I put the egg, milk, sugar, and vanilla essence into a bowl and mixed them well with a whisk.

・ I put the cut bread crusts into the bowl and soaked them well in the liquid.

・I arranged the soaked bread crusts tightly in a frying pan.

・ Afterwards, I cooked both sides of the bread crusts for 3 minutes each over low heat.

・After cooking, I cut them into my preferred size. The finished product was subtly sweet, perhaps because I used less sugar. I think it would have been delicious with honey or similar toppings.
