Today, with the goal of dieting in mind, I tried making Chinese-style (using Weipa) addictive cucumbers.
The finished dish was quite salty and had a strong Weipa flavor. The spiciness of the chili peppers was also great, making it a dish that really makes you want to eat more rice.

Addictive Cucumber Recipe (Instructions)
(1) Cut the cucumbers into a size suitable for “itazuri” (rubbing with salt) (as they weren’t straight) and perform itazuri.

(2) Smash the cucumbers with a rolling pin to break them internally, then tear them by hand.
(3) Sprinkle with salt and let sit for a few minutes. Wipe off any excess moisture with a paper towel.

(4) In a bowl, mix 5g Weipa, 3g salt, 3g sugar, 8g sesame oil, 1g white sesame seeds, and a pinch of chili peppers. Add the cucumbers from step (3) and mix again.

(5) Chill in the refrigerator (overnight this time) and it’s done. The finished dish was quite salty and had a strong Weipa flavor. The spiciness of the chili peppers was also great, making it a dish that really makes you want to eat more rice.
